Billing Terms and Conditions
Welcome to HappyProm (www.happyprom.co.uk). To ensure a secure and seamless shopping experience, we provide clear and transparent billing terms. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the billing policies outlined below.
1. Accepted Methods of Payment
We accept a variety of secure payment methods to accommodate our customers worldwide:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Maestro.
- PayPal: Secure payments via your PayPal account or via PayPal Credit (where available).
2. Payment Security & Encryption
Your security is our top priority. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways. HappyProm does not store, view, or have access to your full credit card details or financial information. All data is protected using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
3. Order Processing & Currency
- Currency: All prices on our UK website are displayed and charged in British Pounds (GBP / £), unless stated otherwise. If your local currency is different, your bank or card issuer will apply their standard exchange rate and any applicable foreign transaction fees.
- Payment Timing: Full payment is required and will be charged at the exact time you submit your order at checkout. We will not begin tailoring or processing your order until payment is successfully authorized.
Important Note on Custom Tailoring: Since many of our prom and wedding dresses are made-to-order, once a payment is authorized, materials are allocated and tailoring begins. Please review our Cancellation Policy if you wish to make changes.
4. Pricing, Taxes, and Duties
- Price Changes: HappyProm reserves the right to change prices for products displayed on the website at any time without prior notice. However, the price charged will be the price displayed at the moment your order is placed.
- Duties and Customs: For shipments to the UK or international destinations, your order may be subject to local import duties and taxes upon arrival. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
5. Fraud Prevention & Order Verification
To prevent fraudulent transactions, HappyProm reserves the right to verify payment details before shipping any order. If a transaction triggers our security system as potential fraud, we may contact you to request additional verification or cancel the order immediately and issue a full refund to the original payment method.
6. Billing Errors & Refunds
If you notice any discrepancies or unexpected charges on your billing statement related to your purchase at HappyProm, please contact our Customer Service team immediately. Approved refunds will always be credited back to the exact same payment method used to place the original order. Please allow 3-7 business days for the refund to reflect on your account, depending on your bank's processing times.
